If you like to have a cocktail every once in a while, keep your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your purse, your wallet, and leave all cash, plastic credit and cheques back at the hotel. Only take whatever cash you expect to use on refreshments, tips and only the pocket change you intend to throw away and keep the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not by any means. Just realistic. You could experience a profit after a drunken evening out with your friends and be lucky enough to hit a marathon toss at a smokin craps table. Keep that adventure because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you always consume alcohol and wager. The two simply don’t mix.
Keeping your cash back at the hotel is a bit excessive, but precautionary measures for drastic behavior is required. If you bet to profit, then don’t drink and gamble. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your money nary a concern, then consume all the complimentary beer your stomach can handle, but do not pack credit cards and cheques to toss into the mix of going after losses after your drunken brain throws away everything!
Permit me to take this 1 step further. do not drink alcohol and then jump on the net to bet in your preferred online casino either. I love to beer from the comfort of my house, but due to the fact that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards near by, I can’t drink alcohol and bet.
What’s the reason? Even though I don’t drink alcohol a lot, once I drink alcohol, it is definitely enough to cloud my common sense. I bet, so I do not consume alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not bet when you do. Both make for a ferocious, and costly, cocktail.
